The microscope head is used together with a universal stage and a focusing mount. It is designed for observing three-dimensional objects and the details of their structure while preserving their virtual volume and the clarity of surface relief.
The Greenough-type optical system provides a wide depth of field and produces three-dimensional images thanks to a stereo angle of 15°. The microscope head magnifies an object's image without losing spatial orientation.
Mounted on a universal stage, the head can be used for restoration, soldering, assembly, quality control, and other similar activities.

Microscope head type

The head is binocular; the digital camera is installed on the optical tube in place of the eyepiece.
The basic kit includes 10x/22 mm eyepieces with diopter adjustment and long eye relief for use with glasses.

Zoom

The objective smoothly increases magnification up to 8,4x without loss of focus. The optical system produces an upright (not inverted), three-dimensional image. Additional auxiliary objectives can increase the magnification range, as well as change the microscope's field of view and working distance.

Eyepieces and auxiliary objectives can extend the microscope's magnification range.
A digital camera transmits the microscope image to a monitor. A calibration slide enables precise measurement of specimens. The scale value on the calibration slide for stereo microscopes is 0.1 mm.
Ring illuminator for shadow-free illumination of the working area during reflected-light observations.
A ring illuminator with a polarizer removes reflections from images captured of polished metal surfaces.
A ring illuminator with sector switching and a flexible-neck light is used for fine adjustment of the working-area illumination. The light is set at the selected angle and creates the highlights and shadows needed for examination, while keeping the correct part of the specimen illuminated.
Universal stands expand the working area and offer greater freedom in choosing the position of the microscope head above the working area.
