Economical and precise skinfold caliper for professional use.

It measures the thickness of skin folds in various areas of the body, according to the characteristics developed by Tanner and Whitehouse:
- pressure exerted on the fold: approximately 10 g/mm2
- contact surface on the fold: approximately 6x11 mm

This tool provides an accurate assessment of the nutritional status of the subject being examined and how his adipose tissue is distributed across sectors.

The user lifts a fold of skin between their fingers to measure its thickness (maximum opening 4 cm) with the instrument's calipers: on the upper edge there is a scale in millimetres on which an arrow moves that immediately measures the fold (triceps, subscapular, etc.) with an accuracy of approximately ± 2 mm.

The colored bands placed near the scale allow you to compare the detected value with the reference percentiles for men and women.

Supplied with a user manual that helps in interpreting the values.
