Built to international standards, the Gima skinfold caliper features spring-loaded arms that apply 10 g/mm2 of pressure to the skinfold and an accurate mm scale for measuring fat thickness. The ability to calibrate the pressure applied eliminates problems caused by spring tension loosening over time.

It features a digital display and an instruction sheet showing the correct positioning for data collection. A dedicated table facilitates the calculation of body fat percentage and the assessment of the patient's general condition based on the collected data.
