ZOLL CPR-D-Padz - Electrodes for the ZOLL AED Plus and AED Pro
Unlike other pairs of electrodes, the CPR-D-Padz electrodes are assembled as a single unit, with the two pads attached to each other, to prevent incorrect placement. The sensor integrated between the two pads, which is positioned on the sternum when the electrodes are attached, records the depth and rate of chest compressions and activates the feedback function. This means that even during chest compressions, the defibrillator can give instructions such as “push harder” or “good compressions.”

The CPR-D Padz pads last five years. It is recommended that the electrodes be replaced at the same time as the lithium batteries, since both accessories have an approximate shelf life of 5 years.

The electrodes have a cable 1.10 meter long and an improved sensor. The one-piece pads can also be used on patients with a larger build; the two pads can be separated from one another with a single tear if the patient has a larger chest circumference.

These electrodes are suitable for the following defibrillators:
- ZOLL AED Plus
- ZOLL AED Pro

For the professional M and R Series defibrillators, an CPR connector (8000-0370) is required for CPR. The electrodes work immediately for defibrillation.

The cable extends from the packaging so it can be preconnected to the defibrillator while the device is on standby. When the electrodes are connected, the AED detects their presence and the message is heard adult electrodes.

With the ZOLL AED Plus, the expiration date can be made visible through the defibrillator cover. This makes it possible to check from the outside at all times whether the expiration date has passed.
