Prontosan by B. BRAUN is a ready-to-use solution for cleansing chronic wounds, formulated with polyhexanide (PHMB) and propyl betaine. The surfactant it contains helps break down bacterial biofilm and cleanse the wound effectively. Squeezing the bottle physically removes residue from the wound bed. Prontosan reduces trauma during dressing changes, minimizing damage to newly formed granulation tissue and relieving pain.
