The regulated output extends the life of the bulb and ensures optimal light intensity.

- Constant output transformer with built-in surge protection
- Soft start to introduce voltage gradually, eliminating thermal shock during ignition and extending the life of the bulb
- Automatic on/off switch when the handles are removed or reinserted into the housing
