DHA is a long-chain polyunsaturated essential fatty acid of the Omega 3 series, like all fatty acids essenzlall is not produced by orqanism and therefore must be taken with the diet and, in case of malabsorption, be appropriately supplemented. Polyunsaturated fatty acids have important actions in our body; they modulate the immune response and have a strong anti-inflammatory action by competition with arachidonic acid, giving rise to eicosahexanoids with anti-inflammatory action.

DHA also plays an important role in the nervous system as it is an essential component of the neurons of the myelidine sheaths and the retina, it plays a critical role in determining lipid/protein interactions in neuronal membranes and at the synaptic level, interfering with the receptorlal conformation, ion channels, enzymes and the passages of various molecules through cell membranes (nerve transmission).

DKX Plus allows you to provide the daily requirement of both the fat-soluble vitamins ADEK, recommended by international guidelines, and the daily requirement of DHA.

The DHA contained in DKX Plus originates from algae, which is the safest source as algae oil is free from contaminants such as heavy metals often found in fish extraction oils. The emulsion is sugar-free and has a pleasant taste to be appreciated even by children.

The case contains a measuring cup graduated to 2.5 - 5 ml.

Posology
- Children up to 20 kg: 1 scoop of 2.5 ml twice a day or according to medical prescription.
- Over 20kg: 1 scoop of 5 ml twice a day or according to medical prescription.
