Lipokolin is a food supplement containing Olive, useful for lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, Monacolins from fermented Red Rice, and Artichoke, useful for lipid metabolism and with antioxidant action. With vitamin B3.

MAIN ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:

- OLIVE: Oleuropein, extracted from Olive leaves (Olea europea), has high activity against various biological targets and numerous effects on human health, demonstrated in pre-clinical, epidemiological and clinical studies. Cardiovascular prevention: counteracts LDL oxidation and lipid peroxidation (anti-atherogenic effect), and reduces vascular inflammatory cytokines.
Metabolic syndrome: inhibition of α-amylase and intestinal sugar absorption. Increased insulin sensitivity.
Neurodegenerative diseases and hepatic steatosis.

- MONACOLINS: produced through fermentation by the fungus Monascus purpureus on Oryza sativa. The extract retains the original phytocomplex of monacolins, among which monacolin K predominates, with an inhibitory effect on hepatic cholesterol synthesis, demonstrated by numerous scientific studies. Total monacolins per recommended daily dose are less than 3mg.

- ARTICHOKE: extract standardized in chlorogenic acid, with luteolin and cynarin. Various studies demonstrate cholesterol-lowering and antioxidant activity against LDL, so it may play a preventive role in the development of atherosclerosis.

- NIACIN OR VITAMIN B3: can increase high-density lipoproteins (HDL), the so-called “good” cholesterol, which helps remove low-density lipoproteins (LDL), known as “bad” cholesterol, from the blood.
