Curasept ADS 020 soothing mouthwash 200 ml
Curasept ADS 020 soothing mouthwash contains chlorhexidine at 0.2%, a disinfectant that counteracts bacterial growth by preventing it, and chlorobutanol at 0.5%, which has a soothing action on the oral cavity.
Its use is particularly indicated when, in addition to a rapid anti-plaque action, it is necessary to reduce irritation symptoms of the oral and gingival mucosa, including those resulting from orthodontic treatments.
The absence of alcohol prevents irritating and painful effects, while the presence of the A.D.S. system reduces the incidence of possible tooth discoloration.
Chlorhexidine is characterized by rapid action and high retention in the oral cavity, and maintains its anti-plaque and antibacterial activity for up to 8-12 hours. 

Chlorobutanol, on the other hand, has a local soothing action on both the skin and mucous membranes, making it particularly suitable when it is also necessary to reduce irritation symptoms.

The ADS system (anti-discoloration system) interferes with pigmentation mechanisms, preventing tooth staining. 
Contains chlorhexidine at 0.20% + chlorobutanol at 0.50 %.

Local anesthetic:
The Chlorobutanol has a local soothing action achieved by blocking pain transmission, with a mechanism of action similar to Benzocaine. It is also useful for protecting an already damaged area from new irritating stimuli.

Anti-inflammatory:
The Chlorobutanol It has a mild vasoconstrictive action, due to its mild α-adrenergic action, which reduces inflammatory symptoms while enhancing the soothing effect of the mouthwash.

Antiseptic and antifungal:
The Chlorobutanol It has a preservative action in solution, and therefore an antibacterial and antifungal action that maximizes effectiveness in preventing bacterial superinfections and infections caused by Candida Albicans.

Particularly indicated when it is necessary to combine an intensive anti-plaque action with a rapid reduction in irritation symptoms of the oral and gingival mucosa resulting from:
- Extraction surgery
- Lesions caused by removable dentures
- Ideal before and after intensive treatment.
- Lesions associated with the use of orthodontic devices (accidental bites, sharp edges, pressure on the gingival margins, protruding wires)
- Extensive lesions of infectious origin
