Levenhuk 850B is a biological binocular microscope equipped with planachromatic optics for brightfield observations in transmitted light. It is used in medical centers of different types for urological, dermatological, biological, biochemical, anatomical-pathological, cytological, and general clinical laboratory research.

The microscope is equipped with a 360º rotatable binocular head with a tilt angle of 30º and a 4-objective nosepiece. The nosepiece with its objectives is oriented towards the inside of the instrument: the user can see which objective is inserted in the optical path and the space above the stage remains free. The interpupillary distance is adjustable within a wide range. The set includes 10x eyepieces with a 22 mm field of view, which allows you to view a large area of the sample.

The focus of the microscope is adjustable by means of the coarse and fine focus knobs. The focus handles move the stage vertically and horizontally along two axes perpendicular to each other. The stage does not have a positioning rack. The stage knob positioned at the bottom enhances the user experience. The sample holder is designed to accommodate two samples. With the focus adjustment and stage movement mechanism taking place smoothly, movements are quick and easy.

Using an LED light source increases the resolution of the microscope. The LED is mounted on the base, its brightness can be adjusted and lasts a long time before a replacement is required. The field and aperture diaphragms enable the Köhler method of illumination. The illuminator operates on AC power (220 V power cable included).

Caution: For information regarding the correct mains voltage, refer to the specification table. Never attempt to connect a 110 V device to a 220 V power outlet, or vice versa, without using a voltage converter. Remember that the mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V and 220–240 V in most European countries.
