The Ermenrich Ping SM75 Multimeter Cable Tester is a multifunctional tool for comprehensive diagnostics and determining the condition of telephone lines, computer networks and electrical equipment. The device is designed for professionals who are involved in the installation and maintenance of networks in industrial, office and residential environments.
The tester is used to detect twisted pairs, cable detection and determine the length of cables (up to 200 m, with an error of ±3 m) and the distance to short circuits or open circuits. Ermenrich Ping SM75 stands out from similar devices with its wide range of functions. It allows you to perform a PoE test, determining the type of power equipment according to the IEEE 802.3af/at standard. It has NCV (non-contact dangerous voltage detection) and port flashing functions and is compatible with STP/UTP network cables of category 5E/6/6A. It also replaces a digital multimeter by measuring voltage (DC and AC), current (DC and AC), resistance, frequency and capacity. The measurement results are displayed on the transmitter's color TFT screen with a resolution of 320x240 px.
The kit includes a transmitter, a receiver with a headphone port to connect earphones (included), an RJ45 port, and test probes for the multimeter. The transmitter is powered by a built-in 3.7V rechargeable battery (charging adapter purchased separately), and the receiver is powered by a 9V battery.
