Description
The Ermenrich Ping SM100 is designed to locate cables embedded in walls and ceilings or buried underground. The maximum detection depth is 2 meters. The device can locate both live and disconnected cables and can therefore be used to detect cables hidden under plaster, to map cable ducts, to choose the right place to drill a hole, etc. When tracing cables, the device offers protection against crosstalk.
The device includes a transmitter and a receiver, both with separately adjustable sensitivity. Both devices are powered by rechargeable batteries and a charging cable is included in the package. The Ermenrich Ping SM100 comes with a pair of earphones, which are useful when working in noisy environments.
