The Ermenrich Reel BD30 is a GPS-enabled land surveyor designed to measure plots of land of any shape and composition, such as farmland, orchards, forests, bodies of water, industrial warehouses, beaches, etc. This instrument is compact and lightweight, with easy-to-use control buttons and a built-in screen for viewing measurements.
This GPS land surveyor can measure the length of a boundary and the area of the respective plot of land (i.e. the perimeter and the area inside it). In automatic mode, simply press the button at the point where you want to start the measurement, walk along the perimeter of the land you want to measure, and then press the button again when you reach the end point of the measurement. In manual mode, you can set intermediate measurement points. This tool has various operating modes for measuring flat and sloping areas.
In addition, there is a function for measuring the width of a plot of land of regular shape that requires the help of agricultural machinery for processing (for example, a cultivated field). In this case, it will be enough to place the instrument inside the vehicle, in the center of the cabin and set the width of the vehicle. The measurement will be carried out while the vehicle is moving. The option for setting the price per unit of area (area and length) is another useful function that our instrument is equipped with. In this case, the land measurer will automatically calculate the total price of the measured area.
Measurement results can be stored in memory, with a total of 99 memory slots available. Power is provided by a rechargeable battery, which provides up to 10 hours of autonomy on a single charge.
