The Ermenrich Zing AL45 Battery Tester is a simple-to-use tool that allows you to quickly check the condition of a car or uninterruptible power supply (UPS) battery. The tester connects to the anode and cathode via two terminals. This connection is also responsible for powering the tester - no other power source is needed.
The measured values are displayed on the integrated screen. The top bar shows the overall health of the battery as a percentage. If this value is between 40% and 60%, it is time to consider a battery replacement Values below 40% indicate a drop in battery performance. Any value above 60% is considered good. The screen also shows the voltage, internal resistance, and cold inrush current (CCA). The control buttons are located below the screen.
