The Ermenrich Zing WT40 Electrical Tester is a portable, easy-to-use instrument that can be used to detect the presence of alternating current (AC) voltage at the ends of an electrical cord or outlet. As a result, this tester can quickly locate a failed cable or detect defects in the electrical system of a home or office. It can be used in a professional setting but also for normal home maintenance.

This is a non-contact voltage tester. This instrument can detect both low (12–48 V) and high (48–1000 V) AC voltages and provide different signals to differentiate them. The beep varies in hue and the lights change from solid to flashing.

In addition, there is a built-in flashlight. If the flashlight does not turn on or emits a dim light, it means that the batteries need to be replaced immediately.
