AuraGain meets 3 key requirements for airway management, combining gastric access and the possibility of intubation in a single-use device with an anatomical curve that facilitates the rapid establishment of a secure airway.

- Rapid placement
The soft curve of AuraGain, preformed to follow the anatomy of the human airway, ensures rapid placement and long-term performance. The thin, soft cuff of AuraGain is designed to provide high sealing pressure.

- Gastric management
The integrated gastric access channel is designed to reduce friction as the gastric tube passes through, to allow management of gastric contents
and prevent gastric insufflation.

- Intubation capability
AuraGain has an additional safety feature: intubation capability. This means that in the event of an unexpectedly difficult airway or in
CI-CV situations (“cannot intubate - cannot ventilate”), where the ultimate aim is to intubate the patient, AuraGain can be used as a direct channel for endotracheal intubation assisted by a flexible videoscope.
