The soft curve of Aura-i, preformed to follow the anatomy of the human airway, ensures quick and easy placement and long-term performance.
Aura-i is the ideal device for routine procedures to maintain a patent airway when use of an ET tube is not considered necessary. At the same time, it can be useful for difficult airway management.
In CI-CV (“cannot intubate - cannot ventilate”) situations, where the ultimate goal is to intubate the patient, Aura-i can be used as a direct channel for endotracheal intubation assisted by a flexible videoscope.
The ventilation tube is designed to facilitate passage of appropriately sized endotracheal tubes.
The recommended ET tube size is indicated on the mask connector block.
