The gearless DuraShock technology uses a helical spring to directly convert the vertical movement of the pinion gear into the rotary movement of the slider. This innovative system allows calibration to be maintained longer than traditional models, reducing the frequency of replacements and long-term costs. It is also the only pressure gauge that complies with the AAMI Shock Resistance Specification, withstanding drops from 76 cm on hard surfaces without altering the calibration.
