Podcare 2.0
Podcare 2.0 is the device dedicated to professionals developed by GLOBUS for laser therapy in the treatment of podiatric disorders, and designed to be practical and portable.

In the treatment of podiatric problems, Podcare 2.0 by GLOBUS is particularly indicated for treating various musculoskeletal pathologies.

Its various programs and applications are particularly useful in treating problems such as onychomycosis, onychocryptosis, and other inflammatory pathologies typical of the foot and leg.

List of programs with 808 nm wavelength
- Specific programs for podiatry: Onychocryptosis – Onychomycosis – Morton's neuroma
- Skeletal Muscle: Osteoarthritis – Rheumatoid arthritis – Muscle contracture – Fibromyalgia – Radiculopathies – Tendinopathies – Neuralgia – Bursitis – Edema
- Dermatology: Wounds

Laser podiatry
The Podcare GLOBUS laser therapy models, in addition to offering a variety of programs for the treatment of pathologies localized in all anatomical districts, have a large section dedicated to foot problems.

Treatment of nail problems: Onychomycosis
It's a fungal infection that primarily affects the toenails, as they're the most exposed to heat and humidity. The infection manifests as maceration of the keratin, which generally turns yellowish. The laser creates a photothermolytic effect on the nail, consisting of laser light and progressive heating to a high temperature, which eliminates nail fungus.

Treatment of Nerve Problems: Morton's Neuroma
Morton's neuroma is a thickening of the interdigital nerve due to perineural fibrosis, or the formation of fibrous scar tissue. This fibrosis is caused by friction on the metatarsal nerve. Morton's neuroma is usually located in the interdigital space between the third and fourth metatarsals, as the metatarsal bones are more mobile at this level. It is less common to find it between the second and third metatarsals, while it is rare to find it in the remaining interdigital spaces. Laser therapy is used to reduce pain under the foot (for analgesic purposes) and to reduce inflammation due to friction on the metatarsal nerve (for anti-inflammatory purposes).
