Onychomycosis is a fungal infection that mainly affects the toenails. It manifests as maceration of the keratin, which takes on a yellowish color. The laser produces a photothermolytic effect on the nail, eliminating the fungi through a combination of laser light and progressive heating.

Treatment of nerve problems: Morton's neuroma
Morton's neuroma is a thickening of the interdigital nerve caused by perineural fibrosis. This phenomenon occurs mainly between the third and fourth metatarsals. Laser therapy is used to reduce pain and inflammation caused by friction on the nerve.
