Epitact - Epitheliumflex patellar knee brace – Size T4 (circumference 42-43)

INDICATIONS : The EPITACT® patellar knee brace is recommended for painful and inflammatory knee conditions, and particularly for conditions affecting the kneecap (trauma, dislocations, sprains...). It is indicated to prevent episodes of kneecap instability.

FEATURES : The EPITACT® knee brace incorporates the patented EPITHELIUMFLEX® patellar strap, which is positioned around the kneecap to limit lateral deviations. The 3D elastic knit applies compression that improves sensory perception of the joint (proprioception) and helps stabilize it. The flexible side stays provide additional knee support.

ERGONOMICS : Thanks to the silicone-coated elastic band on the thigh, the knee brace does not slip and stays securely in place. The patented pad positioned behind the knee (popliteal fossa) prevents discomfort and irritation. The kneecap is protected from compression by the area made of compression-resistant fabric. The microperforated knit allows sweat to evaporate for maximum comfort.

RECOMMENDATIONS : To support recovery or in cases of recurring chronic pain, recommend the osteoarthritis knee brace. Athletes returning to activity are instead advised to wear the Sport Knee Brace, another product in the EPITACT® range that provides greater security for a vulnerable knee.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use in cases of arteritis, significant varicose veins, after-effects of phlebitis, or edema (lymphatic/venous) of the leg and/or thigh, so as not to impede circulation. Do not use on skin lesions.
