This infinity planachromatic objective lens has a magnification of 60x and a resolution limit of 0.35 μm. When used in combination with a 10/22 mm eyepiece, the diameter of the field of view is 0.36 mm. The field curvature is corrected in 90% of this diameter. Aberration correction: chromatic aberrations for blue and red light, spherical aberration for green light. This objective can be used for the observation of samples with a size of 0.5 μm, such as sperm, red blood cells, and white blood cells in semen, blood, or urine analysis.
For observations with the MAGUS MP60 60x/0.80 Plan ∞/0.17 objective, the use of eyepieces with magnification between 7x and 14x is recommended. When observing, use a coverslip that is 0.17 mm thick. This parfocal lens ensures minimal aberrations, is suitable for digital photography and can be used in combination with wide-field eyepieces with 22 mm of field of view.
