The non-sterile laparotomy gauze is designed to ensure high absorbency and safety during surgical procedures. Made of 100% cotton, it has a 4-layer structure with 20 threads per square centimetre, providing strength and softness. The sewn edges increase durability and reduce the risk of fraying. A radiopaque barium thread, made of biocompatible polypropylene and containing 60% barium sulfate, is woven into the gauze to ensure visibility under X-rays, improving patient safety.
