The non-sterile laparotomy gauze is made of 100% cotton, consisting of 4 layers and 20 threads per square centimetre. It is stitched along the sides to ensure high absorbency. It includes a woven radiopaque barium thread, made of biocompatible polypropylene with 60% barium sulfate. This product is a Class IIa Medical Device compliant with directives 93/42/CEE and 2007/47/CEE. It is latex-free, reducing the risk of allergic reactions.
