GOLDEN GABA is a food supplement based on GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid). Provides 500 mg of GABA per vegetarian capsule. GABA is a non-proteinogenic amino acid, meaning it is not used for protein synthesis.

It is physiologically produced at the level of the cerebral cortex, where it acts as an inhibitory neurotransmitter of the central nervous system with an opposite action to the effect of glutamate, which is instead one of the main excitatory neurotransmitters. GABA is not only present in the brain, but also throughout the gastrointestinal tract. In humans, it also intervenes in the regulation of muscle tone.

Given its role as an inhibitory neurotransmitter, it is preferable to take the product shortly before bedtime.

Swallow 1 vegetarian capsule daily, with water, preferably between meals. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
