Especially BIPHASIC AND COMPENSATED SQUARE WAVE The electrostimulator induces a contraction or physical reaction through an electrical impulse. Like any form of energy, the electrical impulse can be described by a geometric figure using two- or three-dimensional graphs. The area described by the wave represents the energy that stimulates the body. It takes a certain amount of energy to stimulate. In the case of the electrical impulse, the larger the stimulation area, the greater the induced physical reaction. A square wave is able to stimulate a part of the body by keeping both the width of the pulse and the intensity to a minimum, making it more effective and comfortable than the same stimulation obtained with a triangle wave. It is also necessary that the impulse is compensated (a part of the positive wave must be followed by an equivalent part of the negative wave) in order to avoid cell polarization and the dangerous thermal effect. A monophasic wave, as well as being less effective, can overheat metal synthesis systems (prostheses) with the risk of internal necrosis (cell death). - Electrostimulator with 2 independent channels with the possibility of connecting up to 8 electrodes - TENS and EMS electrostimulator with graphic display |
