Finoff transilluminator 3.5 V.

The Finoff transilluminator is designed for transillumination in general, especially of the sclera, and, when used with the blue filter, also for illuminating the eye.
General safety: use only power supply units intended for medical use. Apply the transilluminator to the eye only when the protective cap has been fitted.
Caution: perfect operation of this instrument is guaranteed only when used with alkaline-manganese batteries.
For transillumination of the sclera, place the distal end with the protective cap flat against the eye, without applying pressure to the eyeball. Bear in mind that high light intensity is uncomfortable for the patient and that small tumor areas may remain unrecognizable.

For transillumination of tissue, remove the protective cap and place the instrument against the skin.
To illuminate the eye, attach the blue filter and bring the instrument as close to the eye as necessary, without making contact with it.
