The semi-automatic model analyzes the patient's ECG and, if it detects a shockable rhythm, begins charging the required energy. Once ready, the operator is alerted by visual and voice prompts to press the shock button. The resuscitation phase is supported by voice prompts and a metronome. The automatic model, on the other hand, delivers the shock automatically after 5 seconds.
