Trace Bioluminometer LX25
CLEAN TRACE
ATP HYGIENE MONITORING SYSTEM
INTENDED USE
Clean-Trace is a system for hygiene control by means of
the detection of ATP that exploits the bioluminescence generated by the
adenosine triphosphate (ATP) to measure the amount of
organic material present on a surface or in water
rinsing contaminated instruments (e.g. endoscopes).
Disposable product for professional use only.

The organic material contains ATP, a substance that, if
combined with the reagents present in the Clean-Trace buffer
ATP Test, emits light. Invisible to the naked eye, this light
is easily detected by the sensitive Clean-Trace LX25. The
surfaces and equipment are tested using a
Clean-Trace ATP Test swab subsequently placed
in the Clean-Trace LX25 luminometer to measure the quantity of
ATP present. The system provides a measurement of the
level of cleanliness of the tested area. The results, expressed in ULR
(Relative Light Units), can then be compared
with the default acceptability values.
