Also used for cytogenetic and biochemical tests.
The accurate sharpening of the needle allows for easy and atraumatic penetration.
The stylet is equipped with an ultrasound-marked tip that allows for ultrasound-guided insertion and is characterized by a color code for immediate identification of the needle size.

The cannula is equipped with a sliding stop to determine the depth of needle insertion and a female Luer-lock fitting for collecting amniotic fluid with the syringe.
