Life-size, fully flexible spinal columns comprising a flat occiput, cervical, thoracic and lumbar vertebrae, sacrum, coccyx, complete pelvis with symphysis and removable femoral heads (only 40130, 31, 32). All models also include a representation of the vertebral arteries, spinal nerve endings and an intervertebral disc prolapse at L3-L4. On code 40131, the left side of the skeleton depicts the points of origin (red) and insertion (blue) of the muscles. On codes 40131 and 40132, the sacral tip and coccyx are removable to illustrate the sacral section of the spine and the associated nerve endings. On code 40133, the various areas of the spinal column are colour-coded for easy identification.
