The Levenhuk Discovery Flint 8x40 is a field binoculars with a classic combination: 8x magnification and 40 mm diameter objective lenses. It is an ideal tool for multiple outdoor observing activities: following animal tracks, observing the view, finding nearby hiking trails, bird watching, and much more.
The optical design of the binoculars is based on Porro prisms, made of BK-7 optical glass. Fully multi-coated glass optics increase the contrast and brightness level of the reproduced images, which is especially important when observing in low light conditions. Even at dusk or with the sky covered by low clouds, the images will still be clear and with clearly visible details. This optical instrument also offers a large field of view suitable for comfortable observation of even fast-moving objects.
The binoculars are easily adjustable according to the needs of each user. The focus is set using the center wheel. Diopter and interpupillary distance adjustment functions are available. Foldable eyecups and a long eye relief ensure comfortable observation even for spectacle wearers.
The body of the binoculars is made of metal and equipped with embossed side inserts that allow a more comfortable and firm grip. The standard thread allows the binoculars to be used with a tripod for fixed-location observations.
