These binoculars offer the classic combination of 8x magnification with lenses with a diameter of 40 mm. Considered the gold standard among binoculars, thanks to the features that make it multifunctional. On the one hand, zooming in is perfect. On the other hand, it offers a wide field of view. The Levenhuk Discovery Gator 8x40 binoculars are a great choice for hunting, hiking, bird watching and wildlife watching, area surveillance, and outdoor activities.
The optical design is based on Porro prisms. The optics are made of glass with fully coated anti-reflective treatment. These binoculars offer a bright, vivid and high-contrast image, with good definition of the finest details. The central focus and diopter correction, positioned on the right eyepiece, help to adjust sharpness. The interpupillary distance can also be adjusted. The simple rubber eyecups ensure maximum comfort when observing for extended periods.
The non-slip rubber coating protects the optics and mechanical parts against moisture, dust and dirt. It also ensures a firm grip, especially when holding the instrument with one hand. Tripod mountable.
