All optical elements are made of extra-low dispersion ED glass that minimizes optical aberrations and offers true color rendering. The outer lenses are protected by several layers of anti-reflective coating.

The body of the binoculars is made of impact-proof, temperature-resistant and non-slip plastic. The binoculars are filled with nitrogen, a gas that prevents the lenses from fogging up. The airtight design is not penetrated by water: these binoculars survive submersion in water up to 1.5 m deep for no more than three minutes. They are low-maintenance, withstand temperature changes and are resistant to rain, snow and mud.

The Levenhuk Vegas ED 12x50 binoculars can be adapted to a standard 1/4" tripod.
