The Wezzer Cook MT40 Levenhuk Kitchen Thermometer is a useful culinary tool that can measure the cooking temperature of food and warn you if it is too high. Thanks to this heat probe, the meat will no longer burn and the cakes will always be soft and well cooked.
The Levenhuk Wezzer Cook MT40 can also be a versatile home thermometer since it can measure air, water, and even ground temperature. It will accurately show the temperature when placed in a cooler or in a cup of steeped tea. If necessary, the probe thermometer can even be used as a medical thermometer to measure body temperature in case of discomfort.
This instrument can measure the temperature of food in °C and °F. The range of measurable temperatures is very wide, which expands the possible fields of application. The robust design of this device ensures its continued use for many years. The housing is made of ABS plastic in accordance with IP65 degree of protection standards. It is fully protected against the ingress of dust and is not afraid of accidental contact with water.
The measured temperature values are shown on the screen integrated into the thermometer. The large digits are easy to read and backlighting is available. The buttons are located on the side of the screen: °C/°F (unit conversion), 'HOLD' (keeps the current temperature visible on the screen) and 'ALARM/SET' ("Warning/Set": to access the settings).
The device is battery-powered. The automatic shut-off function is designed to reduce energy consumption. The screen backlight will automatically turn off after 5 seconds, and the meter will turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity.
