The Levenhuk Discovery Report W30-S remote sensor measures temperature over a very wide operating range. It works effectively in both freezing temperatures and higher temperatures. It is designed to be used in tandem with the Levenhuk Discovery Report W30 weather station. The data is transmitted via radio link, so the main module and sensor can also be positioned at a great distance from each other without the use of cables.

The sensor can be hung on a wall (there is a wall hook on the back panel) or placed on a folding pedestal. It is powered by standard batteries, which are easy to buy in any store. There is a LED indicator on the front panel and a channel switch on the rear panel.

The use of alkaline batteries for remote sensors is recommended.
