The Super Air Pressure Ulcer Prevention Kit with 20 cm Cell Mattress by TERMIGEA SRL is an advanced solution for the prevention of pressure sores, intended for long-term bedridden patients. By alternating the points of contact with the body, it promotes proper blood circulation and improved tissue oxygenation, helping to reduce the risk of pressure injuries.

The system consists of an interchangeable-cell mattress and a digital compressor that is compact and quiet, designed to ensure maximum efficiency and comfort. The compressor allows you to adjust the pressure according to the patient’s weight and the inflation/deflation cycle time. It is equipped with two LED indicators (red and green) that indicate the pressure status, and an audible alarm for loss of pressure.

It also includes the Staticfunction, which stops alternating inflation, turning the mattress into a static mattress, and the Autofirmfunction, which keeps all the cells inflated to maximum pressure. The compressor can be placed on the floor or attached to the bed rail using support feet and hooks.

The mattress, which should be placed on top of a standard mattress, is made of medical-grade PVC with an antibacterial treatment and covered with a Nylon/PVCcover. It consists of 20 interchangeable cells (including eight centrally located micro-perforated cells with low air loss) that inflate alternately. The individual cells are secured with snap fasteners to facilitate replacement and cleaning. It is equipped with CPR valve for immediate deflation in an emergency, and 4 elastic flaps for securing the mattress to the corners of the bed.

Installation instructions:

• Place the mattress on the bed mattress with the tubes facing the patient’s feet
• Cover it with a sheet to prevent direct contact with the skin
• Hang the pump from the bed rail using the hooks
• Connect the mattress tubes to the pump, making sure they are not bent or crushed
• Plug it into a grounded 220V outlet

Instructions for use:

• Switch on the pump using the green switch
• Wait approximately 20 minutes for it to inflate fully
• Adjust the pressure according to the patient’s weight, leaving approximately 3 cm between the body and a deflated cell
