The clinical criterion for recognizing a case of swine influenza virus A/H1N1 is in fact to detect an abrupt onset of respiratory disease with a fever equal to or greater than 38° at least one of the following symptoms:
•headache
•malaise
• feeling of fever (chills, sweating)
• asthenia (tiredness, exhaustion)

This thermometer allows instant detection of fever "without touching the patient"!
