Infinity planachromatic objective with 20x magnification and 0.69 μm maximum resolution. This objective is used for the study of 1 μm samples within a wide field of view, such as, for example, for blood and urine analysis (leukocyte counts, erythrocytes, urinary casts and other sediments). Thanks to the minimization of aberrations, this planachromatic lens can also be used for digital photography and in combination with wide-field eyepieces (22 mm field of view).
The MAGUS MA20 20x/0.40 lens corrects chromatic aberrations for blue and red light, as well as spherical aberration for green light. The curvature of the field is corrected in 90% of the diameter of the field of view. In combination with this objective, we recommend the use of eyepieces with magnification between 10x and 20x. A 0.17 mm coverslip should be used when observing with this objective.
