The reasons: the generously drawn, raised and slightly rounded edges keep the newborn in the right position safely.

The toe stop, placed on two rails, slides easily along the graduated scale and can be locked on the measurement taken, thus allowing the child to be taken care of before proceeding with the recording of the results.
