Objective with 20x magnification for a metallurgical microscope. It is ideal for working with eyepieces with magnifications of 10x to 20x. The useful magnification of a microscope with this objective is in the range of 200–400x, its maximum resolution is 0.69 μm.
Planachromatic optics correct field curvature by 90% and produce a clear, undistorted image over almost the entire field of view. It is recommended to combine the lens with eyepieces with a large field of view: 22 mm. Combining with a 10x/22mm eyepiece will produce a field of view of 1.1mm diameter. Chromatic aberration was corrected for red and blue, and spherical aberration was corrected for green.
A metallurgical lens requires operation with a cover glass. The object of study may have a consistency with large differences in height and with a standard objective position, there is a risk of damaging this or the sample. Therefore, the objective lens of the MAGUS 20 PLL metallurgical microscope has a larger working distance than the standard one, at 8.8 mm.
The objective is compatible with infinitely correct microscopes. Its parfocality is 45 mm.
Compatibility:
- Metallographic microscope MAGUS Metal 600
- Metallographic microscope MAGUS Metal 630
- Metallographic microscope MAGUS Metal 650
- MAGUS Metal V700 Inverted Metallographic Microscope
