How to clean and disinfect the turbine of the appliance:
Avoid placing the flow sensor under running water, the following procedure must be carried out with the "immersion" method. To disinfect and clean the turbine, it is possible to use any specific product offered by the sanitizing solutions market, taking care to use it cold and to check that it does not contain corrosive agents inside.
 
Any cold solution based on oleyl-dimethylbenzyl-ammonium chloride or its equivalents is recommended for the cleaning operation. The solution should be diluted in cold water according to the general instructions of the product (normally the concentration should not exceed 15%-20%).
 
How to do it:
Remove the turbine from the spirometer and carry out a visual check. Make sure that there are no foreign objects inside such as hair, hair, or similar objects that could damage or slow down the moving parts of the turbine, compromising the accuracy of the measurements. Immerse the turbine in the cold solution, shake it to remove impurities, remembering to leave it to soak for no more than 15 minutes. Rinse the sensor in water without exposing it to the tap jet. Place the turbine on a clean surface in an upright position and allow it to dry. Once dry, you can proceed with a new test.
