MAGUS Metal 630 metallographic microscope BD for brightfield, dark field and polarization microscopy techniques. Powerful halogen light illumination produces a quality image with any objective lens and microscopy method. The microscope is designed for quality control and the study of the microstructure of semiconductor materials, metals, and opaque objects. It is used to conduct research at manufacturing facilities, research center laboratories, and university departments.
Optical
The trinocular head is equipped with a trinocular tube in which the digital camera is mounted (not included). You can direct the light beam onto the eyepiece or trinocular tube via a camera/eyepiece light path selection knob. The trinocular head is tilted at 30° for easy observation. The diopter adjustment dial is located on the left optical tube.
Once the lenses included in the kit are mounted on the nosepiece, there will be a slot for an additional lens. All objectives of the base are planachromatic, with a long working distance, suitable for brightfield and darkfield microscopy.
Lighting
For darkfield observations, the microscope has a higher power halogen lamp (50 W). In addition, the reflected light illumination system includes: a set of filters, field and aperture diaphragms, a darkfield device, a built-in analyzer and a removable polarizer. The openings and light source can be centered. You can configure the Köhler lighting method.
Stage and focusing mechanism
The microscope features an interestingly designed stand and focusing mechanism, and the analyzed sample can be of any size and height. It is also characterized by its small size, which allows the microscope to be placed on surfaces with a maximum height of 40 cm. The coarse and fine focus knobs are coaxial and are located on either side of the microscope body. The coarse tension adjustment can also be adjusted.
Fixings
Additional accessories for the MAGUS Metal 630 BDmicroscope can be ordered separately. These include compatible eyepieces, objectives with a long working distance for bright and dark field techniques, calibration slides and digital cameras.
