The ResMed AirFit F40 mask is an oro-nasal ventilation mask with built-in CO2 exhalation holes (therefore it does not require additional expiratory valves).

Can be used with all types of ventilators that require a mask with included expiratory valve and with all types of ventilators configured for leak ventilation.

The ResMed AirFit F40 face mask is designed to be used by patients weighing more than 30 kg who have been prescribed non-invasive airborne therapies, such as CPAP and bilevel. The mask is intended for single-patient home use and multi-patient reuse in a hospital setting.

The AirFit F40 oro-nasal ventilation mask and mask holder cap are made entirely of lightweight and soft materials.

It consists of a silicone pad, frame, connector ring with CO2 exhalation holes, circuit fitting and headgear in synthetic fiber elastane and polyurethane foam. It is equipped with magnetic clips for quick release / re-hooking.

The mask does not contain latex, PVC, and phthalates such as DEHP, DBP, and BBP in any of the components. In the user guide included in the package, you will also find detailed care and cleaning instructions.

The use of the AirFit F30i mask, due to the presence of magnetic components, is contraindicated in patients who have conditions such as a metal hemostatic clip implanted in the skull as a result of an aneurysm or metal splinters in one or both eyes.
