The Ermenrich Zing AL30 is a battery tester, i.e. a portable diagnostic tool for assessing the condition of batteries. Basic tests for batteries include verification of voltage, internal resistance, and cold inrush current (CCA). This tool comes with two additional modes of operation: charging system test and car starting system test. The tester provides an overall assessment of the health of the battery under test and recommends replacing it if the measured values are low.
The instrument connects to the battery via two alligator clips. The built-in screen shows the results of all measurements and is controlled by the buttons located below it. Power is supplied directly from the battery under test, so no additional power source is required.
