AUTOSENSE VOICE Talking Blood Glucose Meter for the blind.

Talking Glucose Meter AutoSense Voice, the new blood glucose meter! … it is the evolution of the previous one, the Senso Lite Nova Plus, and is designed to make it easier for everyone, especially the visually impaired or those with visual impairment, since it does not require the insertion of a code before use, which makes measurements easier and faster and eliminates errors associated with incorrectly coded meters.

AutoSense Voice enables simple, accurate and fast blood glucose level measurements and offers hygienic operation and the broadest and most intuitive functionality available in a blood glucose meter.

The speaking function of AutoSense Voice makes it usable in full autonomy by, in particular, the visually impaired and the blind. Clear and simple sentences spoken in a female voice guide users through the measurement steps and allow them to listen to the detected results.

Speaking Function:
This feature is available in AutoSense Voice. When the speaking function of AutoSense Voice is enabled, instructions and important values displayed on the screen are vocalized. This is a great help for people who may have trouble reading the characters displayed on the screen. Thus, the risk of misuse or misreading due to poor vision can be significantly reduced.

Autocoding system:
The AutoSense Voice meter is equipped with an autocoding system to ensure that the meter and strips are working properly
together. Therefore there is no need for manual coding of the meter. Inserting the test strip will automatically turn on the meter.

Small sample volume:
Only a small drop of blood (0.5 μl) is required for an accurate measurement, which makes the test virtually painless.

Fast test results:
The results can be read on the large LCD display in just 5 seconds.

Two units of measurement, optional calibration:
The AutoSense Voice tool can display results using 2 different units of measurement: mmol/lo mg/dl. One mmol/l is equivalent to about 18 mg/dl. Meter calibration is also optional: both whole blood and plasma equivalent calibration are available.

Large memory capacity, average computing:
AutoSense Voice can store the last 500 test results (including dates and times) and can also calculate 7-, 14-, 30-, 60-, and 90-day averages. The calculated average includes all test results from the selected period, except for those that are flagged.

Strip Ejection:
To avoid contact with blood, used strips can be disposed of easily using the strip eject button. This makes the handling of strips much easier and more hygienic.

Special flags:
You can set pre-meal, post-meal, and sports activity indicators for each measurement result to make the measurement process more accurate. In addition, the results of fake or control measurements can be marked in such a way that they cannot be used to calculate average glucose levels.

Alternative site testing:
The alternate site blood collection feature can be used when blood samples are collected from sites other than fingertips (palms, forearms, and upper arms) to ensure less pain during collection.

Alarm function:
The user can set three daily alarms to act as a test reminder.
