The Levenhuk Discovery Artisan 1024 is a portable microscope with a 5 MP digital camera. This device is powered by mains or battery, so you can take it anywhere you want. Convenient for visiting customers or examining samples in the field. It is also suitable for group presentations and observations, as it is compatible with external devices. The capabilities of this device will be useful to various professionals: jewelers, geologists, numismatists, repair workers, appraisers and others. A hand-held microscope is often used to check merchandise in stores for mold growing on fruits and vegetables.

The microscope is equipped with a 4" color LCD screen that can be rotated. The image of the object placed under the lens is shown on the screen in real time. This microscope allows you to capture images and record high-resolution videos. A memory card is required for this function, which must be purchased separately. MicroSD cards with capacities up to 32GB are supported. If required, the microscope can also be connected to an external monitor, TV or computer. All the necessary cables are already included in the kit. Before connecting the microscope to your computer, remember to install the included software. Through the application you will have access to further functionalities and the measurement of the linear and angular distances of the observed objects.

The microscope is equipped with a LED illumination system with brightness adjustment. The LED are placed around the lens, so all observations are made in reflected light. There is a polarizing filter that allows you to reduce glare and parasitic reflections when observing objects with shiny surfaces. The magnification is continuously variable in a range between 10x and 300x, and the digital zoom allows you to reach a magnification of 1200x.

The kit includes a small holder that allows you to make stationary observations. In addition, a protective and carrying case is included.

Tips for using the software.

For the program to work properly, start the installed application only when the microscope is connected to the PC and ready for observations.

Note: The mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V, while in most European countries it is 220–240 V. For information on the correct mains voltage, refer to the specification table. Never attempt to connect a 110V device to a 220V power outlet, or vice versa, without using a voltage converter.
