The Nano Polar Levenhuk Discovery Digital Microscope is a monocular biological microscope with a 0.3MP digital camera. It can be used both for classic observations and for the creation of a digital research archive. The camera allows you to view images on the external screen, take photos, and record videos of your searches. The kit includes an illustrated educational book on the wonders of the microcosm.
Achromatic glass optics
The optical system includes a 10x wide-field eyepiece and three achromatic objectives: 4х, 10х and 40х. The 40x objective lens is equipped with a retractable spring protective mechanism. The magnification range of the microscope is from 40x to 400x. Because its optics are made of glass, the device transmits a clear, high-contrast image, allowing you to examine even the smallest details of a sample.
Dual LED lighting
The lighting system consists of two LED positioned above and below the coffee table. The light beam size of the lower LED can be adjusted using the disc diaphragm. The lighting is powered by batteries (not included). The coffee table is equipped with simple clips to secure the slide.
0.3 MP digital camera for photo and video capture
The 0.3 MP digital camera can be installed in place of the eyepiece and connected to the computer via USB cable (included in the kit). For it to work properly, you need to install software. The software installation CD is included in the kit. Please check the system requirements listed in the specifications. The camera is powered via the USB cable and expands the capabilities of the microscope. The maximum resolution is 640x480 pixels, and you can record videos at a high frame rate of 30 frames per second. Basic image processing functions (brightness adjustment, image resizing, etc.) are also available.
Included is the 'Invisible World' educational book*
To make the exploration of the microcosm even more interesting, we have added the educational book 'Invisible World' to the kit. He talks about how microscopes work and explains what protozoa, microbes, molds, bacteria, and many other objects and creatures are that can be studied under a microscope. The book contains descriptions of fascinating scientific experiments that you can conduct directly at home.
