The evoStim E therapeutic unit is a therapeutic device intended for perineal re-education by electrostimulation and electromyographic biofeedback intra-vaginally.

It allows passive perineal treatments (with 1 channel of electrostimulation), active perineal recovery (with 1 channel of biofeedback) and musculo-cognitive perineal re-education (by evoked stimulation).

It is intended for both professional use and personal and direct use by the patient.

Intra-cavitary biofeedback is of the EMG type, and can be administered either perineally (with vaginal or anal probe) or transcutaneously (with adhesive electrodes).

Since the EMG signal acquired is of the order of a few μV, EMG biofeedback also requires the application of a transcutaneous reference electrode, which is essential for the suppression of electrical interference.

The visual feedback, on the display, consists of lighting up a number of concentric circles proportional to the pressure exerted on the probe balloon by the perineal muscles, during a voluntary contraction.

Thanks to the full-scale self-calibration function, administering biofeedback programs is relatively easy with the evoStim E unit.
