Prontosan® by B Braun is a ready-to-use solution for cleansing chronic wounds based on Polyhexanide (PHMB) and Propylbetaine.
The surfactant in Prontosan® breaks down bacterial biofilm and cleanses the wound. Furthermore, the jet produced by applying gentle pressure to the bottle physically removes debris from the wound bed. Prontosan® helps minimize trauma during dressing changes, reducing potential damage to newly formed granulation tissue and reducing pain.

- Cleansing and hydration of:
- Pressure sores
- Vascular lesions (arterial, venous, mixed)
- Diabetic foot

Composition per 100 gr.
- Polyaminopropyl biguanide (Poliesanide): 0.10 gr.
- Undecylene-amidopropylbetaine (at 30% weight by weight): 0.10 gr.
- Purified water to taste per 100 grams
